    Yogi Bear

This last evening with Yogi was like the night before an amazing experience! Henry and Winston invited some people over and our new neighbours joined us too. Around nine we sat in a circle in front of our tents. From time to time people walked by making the circle larger and larger. Out of the blue a joint took part in the circle making its trip from mouth to mouth. The first time Betty handed me the joint I hesitated for a moment and without using it I handed it over to Marian. After the joint passed me a number of times I decided to join the joint like everyone else. I do not know when I started to notice something but at a certain moment our circle changed from one mathematical figure to another. It became an ellipse, square, rectangle and even a cube and cone. The people were moving synchronously with the mathematical figures. The expressions on their faces were changing rapidly and the sounds of their voices were making, were far from words or sentences. The taste of my wine was changing into an indefinable liquid. This state of mind was very pleasant but I am a person who likes to keep himself always under control and the opposite was happening. So I decided not to join the joint anymore, only hand it over to Marian. A little later the circle came back and I could recognize people again. I only felt a little light in the head, which was not an unpleasant feeling.

Normally I constantly have to search in my mind for English words to make a reasonable, understandable sentence. Often I think words are scratched out of my memory. But in the state of mind I was in at that moment, all the words I thought were omitted, left their hiding place and arranged themselves in alphabetical order. Now I could do my part of the conversation without hesitation, only all the people in the circle were so far away they did not notice it.

Around four everyone left the circle one by one and after a quick visit to the bathroom I went to my tent. At a certain moment after everyone was gone, our new arrived neighbour went crazy, screaming

"Where is my wife and where is Henry?

He is fucking her! I’ll kill them!".

He was running around like a wild animal, completely changing from a nice quiet man into an aggressive person. After 10 minutes Henry came back and they had a terrible argument, luckily without violence.

A few minutes later his wife came back and the shouting started again. Later she left him, taking the car, the next morning she was still gone.
